Introduction
Chlorophillia is a fun strategy board game designed to teach children concept of photosynthesis. The goal of the game is to grow as many trees as possible & collect oxygen released by them through photosynthesis. But you have to play smartly, to deal with changing weather, water availability and shadow from nearby trees, that blocks the much necessary sunlight.
Design process
1. Beginning of the game:
Each player starts with given number of seeds, tree units and water points.
2. On your turn:
Based in the resources available you grow trees on the forest board and collect oxygen points.
3. End of the game:
The games ends when both players have exhausted the tree units. Player with highest oxygen points wins the game.
Game setup
There are two types of board in the game, a forest board and a player board.
Weather cards
Weather cards decides the weather condition for the current round. Each card indicates how it will affect the seeds and trees on the board. Players have to manage their resources and change their strategy accordingly.
